Linden
Near the end of the Second Seminole War in 1842, the farming community of Linden was established by the Morgan family, who owned all of the land there for over two decades. A post office was established in 1888, but Linden never developed into a large town and it was closed in 1955. Part of the Morgan family still lives in town, and Linden is known for its annual Linden Cemetery Picnic - a tradition dating back to 1897 where descendents of Linden pioneers come together and reunite at the historic Linden Cemetery.
